Hello,
If you have version 12 or above, it's relatively straightforward using the
Visual Bander (which you will find in the transform menu).
If you don't, it's a 2 stage process - first, find the cut-points using
frequencies, (click statistics and ask for cut-points), then use Transform,
Recode.
BUT: Why do you want to do this? It is almost always a bad idea (I would
say always a bad idea, but someone might one day show me a time when it
isn't.) By doing this you discard information, and lose power.
