Hello,
Reading Grigson's 1982 "Sex and Age Determination of Some Bones and Teeth of
Domestic Cattle: A Review of the Literature", she states "that there is no
sexual difference in toothrow length or indeed in the size of individual
teeth (pg 7)." Is this still true... meaning that there is at least no
statistically significant dimorphism in tooth row size related to sex? If
it is true for cattle, is it also true for sheep (Ovis aries)?
I would greatly appreciate any knowledge or sources of toothrows and sexual
dimorphism in sheep. Thank you,
