Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has read Steven Levitt's "Freakanomics" (just out
I think, but has been heavily trailed in the 'serious' press). If so, is it
worth my trouble to read? The impression I get from the reviews is that
he's just one of those clever-clever contrarians.
I'm not a statistician, but I am very interested in the use and misuse of
statistical argument and would hate to let my prejudice prevent me from
reading something that might further my knowledge....
