Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce that the Eleventh EIUG conference will be
held at the University of Stirling on 1st and 2nd of September 2005.
Please reserve these dates in your diaries!
A full programme, accommodation and booking details will be announced
towards the end of May via the EIUG discussion list and the EIUG website
http://www.dur.ac.uk/library/eiug/
In the meantime we would like to invite members to volunteer to present
papers on the following;
* ERM
* Mobile access (e.g. text messaging)
* Portal integration
* Metafind
* Implementation of SerialsSolutions and TDNet
* Report from IUG 13
* WebOPAC customisation
* Media Management
* Digital Repository
If you would like to present a paper on any of these areas, or if you
have a project or topic not listed above that you think other members
would be interested in hearing about, then please contact Colin Sinclair
([log in to unmask]), or any other member of the EIUG committee,
with your suggestions.
We are also in the process of organising a III-led Create Lists and
MilStats training event at University of Stirling on 31st August, the
day before the conference begins. Further details of this event will be
posted to the list and on the EIUG website shortly.
I'd be grateful if you would circulate this announcement to those in
your institution who may not be on this discussion list.
Best Wishes
Phil Brabban
EIUG Secretary
