Hello Catherine,
We have the Telescan2 (batch) at Exeter. It takes a little set-up but works
well enough. There are occasional problems with individual barcodes
duplicating characters but those are easy enough to spot (and edit). We use
this for stocktaking purposes rather than circulation.
Best wishes,
Martin

>We're thinking about buying a Telescan 2 portable data capture unit (SB
Electronic Systems) and wondered if anyone was already using one, or something
similar, with Millennium? We've stopped using date labels in stock and are
rapidly going to need something to help with weeding as we
>use non-use as one of our criteria and we thought this would be an easy way
of carrying loan data to the shelves. We also hoped that it would be useful
if we stocktake.
