Attached, and pasted below, you will find the programme and registration form for the Women in Spanish Postgraduate One-Day Conference to be held
in St Andrews on 15 October. For all interested in attending, please
complete & return registration forms by 30 SEPTEMBER 2005.
The conference has been timed to coincide with the WIFIS (Women in
French in Scotland) one-day conference. We are delighted to announce a
particularly interesting and varied collection of papers. The day will
conclude with a talk by a guest speaker, Professor Diana Holmes (Leeds
University), who will give a paper entitled:
'Leur Amour est une Prison': Romance After Feminism.

Practical Information
Travel: The Buchanan Building is in Union Street, at the end of Market Street, in the town centre. For those arriving by train, the nearest
station
is Leuchars: a taxi from there to St Andrews will cost about £8. If you
plan
to arrive by car, please contact Barbara Fleming to arrange access to a university car park (up to 10 minutes' walk from the Buchanan).
Accommodation: Reasonably priced B&B accommodation may be booked in advance through the very helpful St Andrews Tourist Office:
