I am sure that the Private Eye doctor will have taken note of this, and
not been amused.

You cannot use it on a site that is not clearly NHS. Remove instantly.
This bites both ways, and any site that appears to be that of your
practice must be carefully managed to avoid "passing off". IANAL of
course, and those who are are very expensive.

If it has an NHS logo on it it is liable to fall under "passing off".

Much less clear, however, since they are such lively defenders of the
service and interested in websites, I'd be interested in their views,
and what actions they have considered or taken in relation to a site
called "nhsexposed"
It is operated by a doctor, it includes "NHS" in its URL and name and it
is critical.
If someone is acting against one site they regard as unprofessional, but
not against another, it may be that they can be required to explain why,
or that alternate explanations of their choice may appear credible.

This is of course a threat. They are often quite effective.

I have often wondered what strategic HAs do that is ueful.
I shall continue to do so.
But, not just the PCT's own area is involved, then.

See the W3C site for Bobby and for HTML and CSS compliance checkers.
The former is in many respects in accordance with legislative
requirements, the latter is merely evidence of good IT practice and
management.

_I_ have a Sony mini-disc recorder. A very nice piece of kit
The NHS Web links to the Internet through a gateway.
The .htaccess file and various Apache directives allow choice of what
page is served according to what the requesting IP address is.
Usually this is a nuisance.
