The next UK Tectonic Studies Group Annual meeting will be hosted by the
School of Earth, Ocean and Environmental Sciences at the University of
Plymouth. The Web-site has now been made live with a downloadable
registration form, full details of accommodation and links to further
information about the programme (these will be updated constantly as the
programme is finalised):

Briefly, the meeting will have a number of components:
Two pre-conference workshops (Tuesday 4th January):
(1) Challenges to modelling and measuring fluid flow in anisotropic media;
(2) Palaeomagnetism and magnetic fabric analysis - tectonic and structural
applications.
Three days of talks, with an industry themed day on Wednesday 5th January,
and associated poster sessions.
Two post-conference field excursions (Saturday 8th January):
(1) Evidence for the timing and geometry of post-/Late-Variscan extension,
west Cornwall;
(2) Variscan transpressional structures of North Cornwall

Registration: November 30th 2004
