medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
The obvious thing to do is look at the iconography of St. Peter. If
your friend has access to Index of Christian art, there should be some
images there. Bibliography could show up in the International Medieval
Bibliography and ATLA Religion Index + the standard Art indexes.

medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and
culture
Dear all:
I friend of mine is trying to date some mural paintings. She is having
troubles because these works are, so to speak, local versions of
paintings influenced by 15th-c Flemish miniatures and engravings. She is
using as alternative reference some objects, such as swords and keys.
For swords, she has plenty of bibliography. But she could not find
books/articles dealing with keys.
Any help should be appreciated
Best Regards
Carlos
