Hmm, okay, while there is a Makefile.am and a configure.ac file, there
isn't a generated Makefile. The ./configure stage seemed to have completed
correctly (at least there weren't errors). The 'messys' directory is
listed in AC_CONFIG_SUBDIRS in the pcs configure.ac file so that isn't it.
