medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Aida--
This would be found in one of his Hymns on Paradise (I don't have them
at hand).
Critical text with German translation:
Ed. and trans. by Edmund Beck (Corpus scriptorum Christianorum
Orientalium, v. 174-175; Louvain, Secrétariat du CSCO, 1957).
Critical text with French translation:
Trans. by R. Lavenant (Sources Chrétiennes no. 137; Paris: Éditions du
Cerf, 1968).
English translation:
Intro. and trans. by Sebastian Brock (Crestwood, NY: St. Vladimir's
Seminary Press, 1990).
Ephrem's other works are found complete (I believe) in E. Beck's
editions in the CSCO, scattered between vv. 154 and 413.
For good bibliography as of 1973, see M.P. Roncaglia, "Essai de
bibliographie sur saint Éphrem" and S. Khalil, "Compléments de
bibliographie éphrémienne" in the journal Parôle de l'Orient vol. 4
(1973), pp. 343-70 and 371-92.
