Dear Colleagues,
We are writing a paper on evaluating religion-based public health
interventions. Although the literature on religion and health is vast
(it especially focuses on link with health behaviors), we have not found
much research evidence for using religion in PUBLIC HEALTH campaigns. We
are also looking for commentaries that are either critical or supportive
of a role for religion as the basis for public health interventions and
campaigns.
The focus of our paper is on tobacco but we also need examples from
other areas. All help is appreciated. If there is interest, I will
summarize responses for the list.
Many thanks
Samer
