Dear Jens & Qual list,
There is a VERY reduced version of tams available for linux (and
other unixy but non-OSX) systems. It is not an integrated coding and
analysis software package. Instead it takes text files coded (in
Emacs or any other word/text processor) and transforms them into tab
separated files for analysis in Open Office spread sheet or
Gnumeric... That the source code for that program can be obtained
from the bottom of http://educ.kent.edu/~mweinste/tams/software.html
. Just type make in the directory that it you gunzip it to. Then copy
tams to where you normally keep binaries (/usr/local/bin or what have
you).
Yes, at some point I will work on porting the TAMS Analyzer to
gnuSTEP, but time is short right now and I don't have a linux system
to work on...
