Dear Christian,
It's a Digital Audio Recorder. It records music or voice and save them as
*.ACT extention.
Go to http://www.netac.com/driver/driver.asp and download MP3 player C610
driver.
Suggest also to your student to search on a number ofchinese sites; he will
find more info how he can convert the files into wav or even mp3 type.
i.e http://www.sealan.com.cn
Have a nice day
Despina

Subject: act file
Dear colleagues,
one of our students owns a digital mp3 player and he recorded
interviews.
The only information on the player: " CDT "
There are no more technical details written on the player. It seems
to be Chinese.
The player saves only *.ACT files.
Does anybody know what an act-file is.
Can it be converted to *.wav or *.mp3.
Kind regards, christian
