Which I understand to be a jibe at the rivalry between the Benedictines
and
the Cistercians but I am not quite sure how it works out in detail.
Ah. I am wondering if this perhaps explains the statements in
Malaterra in
the sense the the bishop changed affiliations from one of the order to
the
other. Which one would be Martha-esque? Which Mary-esque?
