Does anyone have any practical experience of using equipment for customers
with visual impairments in public libraries
The two areas I am specifically intetrested in are:-
Video Magnifiers ( CCTV's) - There are a number of products available from a
company called Alladin
Reading software that makes printed or electronic text accessible to
customers with visual impairments - for example the Kurzweil 1000 and 3000
products
Any feedback or recommendations would be useful and I will provide a summary
for the list
