At various stages, I have fed back issues raised in the list to awarding bodies and to AOC and QCA. I have also raised some issues through the Association for College Mangement (ACM) which often lobbies effectively on behalf of the sector. Staff in the awarding bodies know of the existence of the list and know that it is an open list. They can all see the list archive on the web. I am happy to write to the awarding bodies to suggest that they should consider having a representative on the list.
However, I would not necessarily expect such representatives to be very active participants in discussion as they would not necessarily feel empowered to respond to issues raised.

Does any one have any suggested contacts they think might be appropriate?
I confess that I forget who is 'in-charge' of this list? Would that person
like to volunteer to follow up with the boards?!

Dear All
Just a thought, but wouldn't it be good if each of the major boards had
someone who subscribed to this list... it would give them an easy way to
understand the trials and tribulations that they cause us (unless of
course they don't want to understand...!)
They could also use it as another forum to consult with some of their
customers (unless of course...!)
