Yes, there's the same hazard in reading type, too, in words with
a lineup of i, u, n, m and sometimes l and t. In the case of u,
n, and m, the round connectors sometimes drop out if the type
impression is light, so "limina" does begin to look like l i i i

can look the same. Occasionally the letter is upside too and
the spelling so various that it is no guide to what a word is.
Luckily I'm dealing with color facsimiles and can enlarge so
that a word fills the screen, if I want, and I can count the ink
dots along with the paper pores.
