Description :
We are seeking an enthusiastic and meticulous Project Officer to work on
the University of London's current and historical map collections. Your
role will be to develop and improve intellectual access to the
collections for the national academic and research community through the
creation of bibliographic records and web content. Additionally, you
will be involved in providing assistance for the enquiry and access
service for the users of the Map Collection.
The successful applicant will have previous library experience,
preferably in an academic environment, and practical experience of
on-line cataloguing, using AACR2 and MARC. The knowledge of at least one
European language relevant to the Library's Collections would be
advantageous.
