Thank you for your response. I will read your paper this evening. I'm
sure I will have some thoughts or questions to post to the list in a
couple of days. I'm very interested in the Third Reich's use of
design, especially since they eschewed modernism for what they called
classical German art. There is so much irony in the fact they pushed
the development of modern weaponry and used clean, simple modern design
methods in their propaganda, insignias and public events.
I am especially interested to see your conclusions about Speer's
relationship with the Third Reich as an archetype of design ethics.
