Lee Post from Homer, Alaska has been producing books on
putting together animal skeletons using northern animals.
So far he has books on the porpoise, wolf, bear, moose
(Alces alces), and now the sperm whale. The books are
wonderful for teachers putting skeletons together as class
projects, and teaching students about skeletal anatomy.
Zooarchaeologists love them because he sprinkles them with
identification tips, siding, processing and other useful
information.
You can order them directly from him. There is an order
form on the Alaska Consortium of Zooarchaeologist web site:
http://www.akzooarch.org/LeePostForm.pdf
The whale book will be included on the order form soon. All
of his books are $34. This includes the shipping costs.
