You will manage our general visitor programmes, focusing primarily on
families, leisure groups and adults. In addition, you will lead the
development of ‘Live Science’, two new programming spaces within the
Wildwalk and Explore exhibitions.
You will have at least four years’ experience in science communication.
Skilled in managing teams and budgets, you will also have excellent ICT,
communication and operational planning skills.

Learning Assistant (Ref: LGA)
£14,000 pa - may include weekends
An excellent communicator and presenter, you will deliver workshops and
shows to schools and/or public groups. You will also be involved in
researching new content for events and analysing feedback from participants.
Familiar with the UK education system and the National Curriculum, you will
be keen to promote Science to a wide range of audiences. Experience of
working with children and a Science degree would be desirable.

Exhibition Project Manager (Ref: EPM)
£30,000 pa
Fixed Term Contract
Reporting to the Director of Exhibitions and Programmes, you will be
responsible for the development of permanent, temporary and travelling
exhibitions from concept to final product.
A seasoned project manager, you will have a Science, Engineering or
Management qualification, ideally at graduate level. Experience managing
multi-disciplinary teams and developing multi-media exhibits will also be
vital.

Temporary Exhibitions Co-ordinator (Ref: TEC)
£20,000 - £24,000 pa
Fixed Term Contract
A proactive self-starter, able to manage a diverse workload in a high-
pressure environment, you will be responsible for the newly branded
travelling exhibition programme to be launched at At-Bristol.
You will have experience of travelling exhibitions and understand the dual
nature of in-house requirements and client needs. Knowledge of project
management principles will also be essential.

Interactive Exhibit Developers (Ref: IED)
£12,000 - £20,000 pa
Fixed Term Contract
You are a team player and enjoy the environment of a public attraction.
You will be tasked to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the
electrical, mechanical, audio visual and IT components of our exhibitions
while interacting with the public. You will also have the opportunity to
grow with our new exhibitions development programme.
Three years’ experience of working with metal, timber, plastic, electrical
and mechanical components and using computers will be vital. Keen to learn
new skills, you will have the ability to solve complex technical problems.

Interpretative Planner (Ref: ITP)
£15,000 - £18,000 pa
Fixed Term Contract
Creative, self-confident and a team player, you will be involved in the
development of new exhibitions that focus on creative message delivery
methods. This position is the visitor advocate within a core project team
of specialists. Your tasks focus on research supporting the aims of the
project.
Alongside knowledge of visitor behaviour, you will have experience of
developing educational resources and running debates and discussions.
