Yes, and architects, interior designers, urban planners, virtual reality
folks, and film makers too, we hope. Sculpture without the capacity to move
around it or through it still has the virtues that light, material and the
mind afford. Terry: To me the education of all "sculptors" should be as much
about light and movement as material and shape. Also, valuing sculpture or
design is really valuing the qualities in life they support. Cellini's eight
visual dimensions just won't cut it any more. Its the experience and
feelings of the perceiver/user that counts.
