Dear Wellington,
there are two very good issues of the magazine "Architectural Design" (AD)
about Deconstruction, mainly about architecture:
Deconstruction in Architecture, AD, vol. 58, 3/4, 1988, Academy Editions,
London /St. Martin's Press, Ney York
Deconstruction II, AD, vol. 59, 1/2, 1989, Academy Editions, London /St.
Martin's Press, Ney York
The second one includes an interview with Jacques Derrida, who is at the
root of the philosophical and literary movement called Deconstruction,
latter taken over by the architects (as usual). The first one has an article
about the connections between Derrida and architecture. So, these are themes
that apply design as a whole, and not only architectural Design. These
issues include also projects of the main architects of the Deconstruction,
many of them still in drawings and models:
Peter Eisenman
Hiromi Fujii
Gunter Behnisch
Bernard Tschumi
Morphosis
Zaha Hadid
OMA
Frank Gehry
There are also some other, which might be interesting to you, though
certaindy not as the two above:
Reconstruction / Deconstruction, AD, vol. 59, 9/10, 1989, Academy Editions,
London /St. Martin's Press, Ney York
Russian Constructivism & Iakov Chernikhov, AD, vol. 59, 7/8, 1989, Academy
Editions, London /St. Martin's Press, Ney York
I am shure you are going to find those issues in your library. Good luck and
goog work.
Best whishes,

Dear all,
I was wondering if anyone has heard of "deconstruction and design".
I would appreciate any suggestion of publications with some kind of
reference to deconstruction theory and/or methodological approach to
analyze products, user-product interaction and/or users' understanding
products.
Best regards
