medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
While at a congress in the Rheinland this August I had occasion to visit the Benedictine abbey of Maria Laach (in the Eifel) and to be present for evensong in its impressive though much rebuilt "romanesque" abbey church.
