My apologies for responding 10 days later! I'm going through some email
on Thanksgiving evening.
If we're speaking of the second figure from the right, that certainly
looks like an inscription. The figure to the far right seems to me to be
a two-dimensional representation of ermine fur trim on a somewhat richer
person's garb. I'm not a scholar in this sort of thing, but is this a
possibility?
