Thanks for both the e-mails. Re: the wall maps, I think we'll pass on them
as the cost of transportation is likely to be prohibitive. I'll check with
my colleagues, but they're very slow at getting the process underway, so if
the maps are in your way, I should go ahead and dispose of them.
As to Cartographiti- I've just bought a very nice book which might be worth
a mention. Karman, Katherine - You are here:personal geographies and other
maps of the imagination, Princeton, 2004 (sic). ISBN 1568984308. £13.99.
It's great book of maps as art, with lots of lovely illustrations and
amusing as well as thought provoking spatial images, and it's on my
Christmas present list!
