Hi (again!)
We've recently been doing a systematic review of the evidence on the
differences between physician and non-physician anaesthetists. As well as
the usual search for peer-reviewed literature (most of which is poor
quality) we have conducted Internet searches, visits to 'case study' sites,
done interviews with stakeholder groups and had an expert advisory group.
Our general feeling is that this has yielded a great deal of material to
guide policy in a way which the traditional literature review bdid not.
Does anyone else have experience or know of anything published about such
'expanded' systematic reviews?
Best wishes
Andy
