Sorry to fill up your inboxes with yet more TSG stuff and apologies for
multiple postings. However, a number of people are slightly confused by
our intention to have a half day field trip to the 90 Fathom Fault. To
explain:
This field trip is free to all registered attendees and will leave
Durham at about 8 - 8:30am (Final time to be decided). We anticipate
spending about 2-3 hrs at the Coast looking at the fault and associated
structures. We will then return to Durham for lunch. The Shell Seminars
will take place during the afternoon. Can I remind all of you who wish
to attend this field trip that warm and waterproof clothing and footware
are ESSENTIAL. Remember this is the NE Coast in January!
Those of you who are not going to the seaside can enjoy a leisurely
morning savouring the delights of Durham.
I hope this clarifies things
Cheers
Phill
