When did you receive Errata notices? I don't think it is anything we have
ever had.

Exactly what happens here. The engineering department has produced a matrix
(cut out) to show correct answers in order for a member of the engineering
(non teaching) staff to be able to identify correct and incorrect answers
efficiently. Results are then put on the walled garden. Any candidate who
requires to re-sit is charged at £5.50. The only problems we had last year
were with the 'errata notices' which were easy to miss when the papers were
being used again and again. Also, how does one get a 16 year old 'want
to be' elctrician not to write or doodle on the question paper that we are
hoping to use again?

Yes we run this course. The dates are chosen by the Engineering Dept, they
tell us the paper number and the version of the paper to be used. Version A
is first, followed by B for resits etc.
I arrange a room and invigilator for the tests. The papers are marked by a
member of the Engineering dept who does not teach the students. All marked
papers are stored by with us. Results sent to C&G on Form S.

I need some advice on 'on-demand testing'. Does anyone out there do the
City & Guilds 2351 - Knowledge of Electrical Installation please? If so,
who administrates and conducts the tests and who marks the papers?
