medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear all:
Two questions, if anyone can help.
(1) When did `Memento, homo, quia pulvis es ...' become liturgical use for
the rite of Ash Wednesday; and (2) Is Augustine the ultimate source for the
*three enemies* trope (Devil, World, Flesh)?
Thanks and best wishes,
Paul
