medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
A good place to pick up associated (derivitative and/or parallel developments)
traditions for Jewish scriptural material is L.Ginzberg, The Legends of the Jews
(7 vols, including extensive notes and a comprehansive index). Ginzberg
sometimes also reports on Christian materials, although his main focus is what
actually or probably was passed along in Jewish circles.
