I know when I worked at my previous College, we had the opposite problem -
students (basketball players) who were too tall, we ended up having to
stand the desks on blocks of wood.

I was recently asked if I supply cushions for use in exams. One candidate
turned up, was so small in stature she could not see to the table to write!
The invigilator ended up rolling up her jacket for the candidate to sit on!
I think if I had this problem I would be arriving equipped! I also had one
candidate for the same examination who was recovering from an accident and
actually sat on the floor throughout the exam and wrote her answers! I
have
also had another who came equipped with a rubber ring having undergone
surgery for haemorrhoids. We have to be prepared for all instances!
