The situation is the same here at Holy Cross College in Bury. We start
at 6am and have a team of approximately 15 staff to deal with the
collation and processing of results because of the sheer volume.
We release results to students at 11am, an hour later than we used to
because of the huge increases in results being distributed.

Subject: Summer results day
I would be interested in finding out what is the earliest you release
the
results to your students. I collect ours from the Post Office at 7.00
am
except Edexcel (like to be different) arrives by special post, we like
to
envelope them, so do not let the student pick them up until approx 11.00
am,
I am being pressurised this year to have them available earlier.
I would welcome details of any systems you may have in place that makes
this
day less stressful.
