medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Marc Drogein, Anathema: Medieval Scribes and the History of Book Curses.
Totowa, NJ: Allanheld & Schram, 1983.
This is mostly a collection of curses scribes put at the end of books,
threatening anyone who borrowed the book and didn't return it. Some are
hilarious. Read them to your classes. It isn't especially about the
10th century. Funny shaped book.
