E-learning architectures: moving together or falling apart?

Location: Lecture Theatre 5, the Arts Tower, University of Sheffield
This session will focus upon sharing some of the thinking behind the JISC's
new e-learning frameworks and architectures' programme and invite
participants and the audience to debate some of the key models that are
being proposed.

Wednesday 10 September 2003, 9.00 - 10.00
Location: Lecture Theatre 5, the Arts Tower, University of Sheffield
Chair: Professor Diana Laurillard
A number of funding organisations, including the Research Councils, the
Department for Education and Skills, and the Joint Information Systems
Committee are all currently planning new activities to explore the
relationship between technology and pedagogy. The new HE Academy will also
have an important role to play in this development. This session will
provide the opportunity to discuss and debate how a programme of active
research into ICT might best take shape.
