>The Department of Women's Studies at San Diego State University invites
>applications for a tenure-track position, at the rank of associate or full
>professor. We seek to strengthen our offerings in the following area:

>· Psychology of Women/Lesbian Studies including issues surrounding
>identity formation through the life cycle, mental health and mental health
>policy, theories of psychotherapy, psychological aspects of sexuality
>--particularly lesbian sexuality, and body image.

>The successful candidate will have a Ph.D., as well as experience in
>Women's Studies or a related field, and:
>· A strong record of refereed scholarly publications (appropriate
>to rank)
>· A demonstrated commitment to undergraduate teaching of a very
>diverse student population
>· A commitment to strengthen a successful graduate degree program
>· A willingness to help develop curriculum and teach in an emerging
>LGBT program.
>· Ability to teach courses such as: Psychology of Women, Women,
>Madness and Sanity, and Lesbian Lives and Cultures
>· Commitment to departmental, university, and community service.
