New Research in the Great Lakes Region

Doctoral (PhD) students working on the Great Lakes Region of Africa are
invited to participate in this informal two-day event. The aim is to build
up a central body of knowledge about new research, offer students an
informal environment in which to debate their research and seek support, and
discuss future collaboration.
Provisional panel themes are: Post-Conflict and Internal Violence;
Socio-Economic Development Strategies & Political Development; Human Rights
& Justice; Identity; Local and National Governance; Forced Migration
