The Refugee Studies Centre has been awarded a grant from the Andrew W Mellon
Foundation to strengthen its collaboration within international scientific
networks and wishes to appoint a Research Fellow. The Fellow should have
expertise on Southeast Asia and experience with quantitative research
methods. The successful candidate will participate in fostering academic
links with academic centres in Thailand and/or Indonesia, participate in RSC
research projects and undertake personal research. There will also be
participation in teaching. If an appointment is made at the lower grade
there will be an appropriate adjustment of duties.
The post requires a higher degree in a relevant social science; knowledge of
quantitative research methods, and ability to teach these; research
interests in forced migration and research experience in Southeast Asia. The
post is for four years.
