Just to confirm to those who attended this meeting that it WAS RCPath accredited (4 CPD points) - all details had been supplied to the RCPath and I received confirmation from Shane Johns on 5 March.
The certificate supplied on the day stated CME points; this was because the medical lead on the national team for the Critical Care programme at the Modernisation Agency had already registered it with the Royal College of Physicians - I'm not sure why. However, Shane informed me that since the Royal Colleges accept each others' accreditation of meetings, the RCPath would not formally repeat the process.
Hope this clears up any confusion!
