Full Disclosure Project Officer
3 Year Appointment
Based at the British Library, St Pancras; Salary circa £20,000
Are you up to this challenge? Do you want the opportunity to put your stamp
on libraries, archives and museums in the UK? You think your answer might be
'yes'?
We're looking for someone professionally qualified, well organised, full of
enthusiasm and initiative to hold the reins on Full Disclosure. This is the
national strategy for retrospective cataloguing and migration to digital
format.
This post is jointly funded by the British Library, Resource and the Laser
Foundation and hosted by the Co-operation and Partnership Programme at the
British Library. The successful applicant is likely to have had one or two
years post qualifying experience. It is a prime opportunity to make a first
step into Project Management.
You will: identify sources of funding for Full Disclosure Projects, provide
the secretariat for the Full Disclosure Implementation Group (the national
committee), promote the programme across the three domains of Libraries,
Archives and Museums, broker partnerships between similar projects and
answer queries about the programme.
This is the first time the project will have a full time officer. Full
Disclosure has a sound basis. It needs you to make it take off! Further
information about Full Disclosure can be obtained from our website
