I do not defend the system and I do not benefit from it. But I do see that
those who work with the system get a lot more done and are less miserable. I
think it is a pity that the DoH does not understand the difference between
speed and quality,( the 4 hr target is Ok but it is not really the point is
it?) I think it is a pity that after all the work that was done to get triage
up and running it has now been decided that we don't need it any more, but
sulking is not the way to deal with them.

The same philosophy that they use to dole out merit awards and discretionary
points. Be a good little boy keep your gob shut and we'll dangle a little
carrot to keep you sweet. Don't rock the boat old chap.
Well unfortunately a few of us won't shut up and question what is being
postulated by the quasi acaedemics who are hell bent on churning out endless
streams of absolute drivel. (Pardon the pun)
One only has to look at what happened to the noble profession of teaching and
now medicine is going the same way. All I can say is God help us.
