thanks to Marjorie Greene's posting of the Bibliotheque de Troyes url, i came
across this Heloise exhibit which might be of interest.

there are some very nice manuscript .jpgs on the "La jeunesse d'Héloïse"
page; and an engraving of the "Maison de Fulbert" which gives us an idea of
what we've lost by the "netoyage" of Old Paris during the Second Empire.
