Apologies to the list for raising hopes. I have just received a further
communication from our supplier which reverses earlier advice says (surprise
surprise!) that libraries are not exempt, so we will have to decide whether
to buy rental version (why are rental videos more expensive than DVDs?) or
boycott Warner. I suspect that our response will be to buy those titles for
which there is high demand, but not in haste.
