There is frustratingly little material on the Ordines. With the exception
of a 1905 translation of Ordo I into English, none of them have even been
rendered in a modern language, at least so far as I know. (I've toyed with
the idea of doing a translation myself...)
You might be able to piece together some helpful material from John
Baldovin's _The Urban Character of Christian Worship_ (Rome, 1987), which
is the definitive study of stational liturgies in the early Middle
Ages. Some dating issues are addressed in _Les ordines, les ordinaires, et
les cérémoniaux_ by Aimé-Georges Martimort, but I do not remember if he
specifically tackles Ordo I.
