I'm a case in point: I try to implement "zoomable" DC elements, on two
dimensions, i.e.
a) specificity, via qualifiers;
b) granularity, via inner structure [let's say "scalable granularity", if a
proper English allows this expression].
E.g. <dc:title>
from:
<dc:title>
The Enciclopedia of Microcomputer Terminology : A Sourcebook for Business
and Professional People / Linda
Gail Christie, John Cristie
</dc:title>
to [let's say]:
<dc:title>
<isbd:titleproper>
<my:nosort>The </my:nosort>Enciclopedia of Microcomputer Terminology
</isbd:titleproper>
<isbd:titleinfo type="subtitle">
<my:nosort>A </my:nosort>Sourcebook for Business and Professional People
</isbd:titleinfo>
<isbd:responsability rank="first">
Linda Gail Christie
</isbd:responsability>
<isbd:responsability>
John Cristie
</isbd:responsability>
</dc:title>
Of course, the second form could fallback to the first.
