i agree - when teaching in education at post and undergraduate level i see
that the effect of a mostly middle class british student cohort ( due to
costs involved in education ) has a sterilizing effect on creative and truly
innovative realizations - ( the sort that really make a difference to people
) - because the mix of culture is not there. design for me always relates to
a place, a context to humans or humans putting there mark on that place,
society and culture but we have to have lived a little to make it relate to
others and to broaden the palette.
