Subscribers may be interested in the following conference which is of
relevance both to academic and industrial users of FE methods:
5th International Conference on
Modern Practice in Stress and Vibration Analysis
presented under the auspices of the Stress and Vibration Group of the
Institute of Physics
9 to 11 September 2003
University of Glasgow
Co-sponsored by:
IMechE Structural Technology and Materials Group
British Society of Strain Measurement
The conference is the fifth in an international series organised by the
Stress and Vibration Group of the UK's Institute of Physics. The first
took place in Liverpool in 1992 and the 2003 Conference will continue to
cover all aspects of theoretical and experimental stress analysis and
vibration dynamics. The aim of the conference is to bring together
researchers in academia and industry, to present creative and novel
research findings, and to facilitate discussion and interchange of
ideas. Papers are welcome that cover the complete range of analytical
and numerical techniques as currently practised in stress analysis and
vibrations research.
