We have a Rapidpoint 400 in our a/e resus area. Analytically it seems fine
by IQC and WEQAS samples but I can't comment on running costs. The biggest
problem we have is with password sharing between staff who think they're
trained to use the analyser. Data transfer to our LIS can be a problem too
although Bayer claim their Rapidlink software can't be to blame! On a
personal note I find the touch screen for PID entry frustrating once the
screen has been fouled by grubby fingers!
