Dear Robin,
Durrington Walls (late Neolithic, grooved ware pottery) has got quite
a few horse bones, some butchered. The bones are kept at the
archaeology museum in Salisbury. As far as I know there are no
findings of horses of earlier Neolithic date in Britain.
Cheers,
Umberto
